How to end a life of depression and negative thinking:
I’m not a doctor and I have no idea why everybody gets depressed.
However, I have experience with this problem. And I know what’s the biggest cause of it.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself: I’m a positive person. I am constantly happy and almost nothing can change this. But I got depressed a couple of times in my life anyway.
I know too well how it feels. It feels like you’re in a black tunnel with no light. Sad, bored and nervous. Losing all motivation and interest in anything.
It’s the same for weeks, months, or even years for some people. The worst part? You can go through this over and over again.
Fortunately, there’s a better alternative. You can learn to live without depression.
But to do that, you need to understand one thing...
You’re not depressed because your life is hard. You’re depressed because you spend too much time thinking and not enough time taking action.
You know what I’m talking about…
I’m guilty of this, too.
For a long time, I imagined every day how great my life could be.And how many things I could do: like meeting new people, improve my appearance, making more money and so on.
But in the real world…
I was sitting at home all day, completely ignoring these.I worked in a job that I hated. And I was eating junk food and binge-watched Netflix.
It’s not hard to guess why I was depressed.
If you constantly think about things you want but don’t take any action, what’s gonna happen? You’ll start to realize you don’t have them. And what a ‘’loser’’ you are because of that.
Overthinking always leads to negative thoughts.
But remember, nobody forces you to think for hours. Nobody forces you to drink beer and eat at Mcdonalds. Nobody forces you to watch tv shows. And certainly, nobody forces you to live a miserable life.
I stopped doing that and you can do the same at any moment you want.
You’re the only one who chooses how to live. So, start now to become responsible and take more action.
Most people never do this because is hard. It’s much easier to act like a victim and complain. But if you always blame other people and circumstances for your situation, you will never be able to make any changes.
On the other, when you’re responsible, you can always do something.
If you’re responsible for your body, you can do something to look better. If you’re responsible for your financial situation, you can do something to earn more money. If you’re responsible for your relationships, you can do something to improve them.
And so on.
When you’re responsible, the power is in your hands.
You don’t need any special technique to overcome depression. Just do something with your life.

Do you know your calling?
Fortunately, I found another way to live my life. I realized something: Almost all of us share the same mission. We were brought on this world to make it a better place.
And if you think about it, there are many ways you can do that.
So, until you find your passion(which can take you a lifetime) you can do something you like and make a mission from it.
Maybe you like clothes. You can make it your mission to dress people well. Or maybe you like music. You can make it your mission to share real messages in your songs.
You get the idea. If you enjoy something, it’s enough for beginning. Passion always comes later. Live your life with a purpose. If you do this everyday, depression won’t be a problem anymore.
You’ll become happy!

Absolutely, but only if you stop thinking so much and start to take more action. You’ll never get happy if you don’t have what you want and continue to live meaningless. So, do something about it.
Life is great. And it’s too short to waste it complaining.
